Teaching children presents a distinct set of challenges compared to instructing adults! By the end of this training, you’ll acquire the tools to empower children in harnessing the calming potential of their breath, enhancing resilience, building strength, and cultivating self-confidence through physical movement and airborne play.

Here’s what you’ll gain expertise in:

– Safely guiding children through aerial yoga poses tailored to their developmental stages using both one-point and two-point hammocks.

– Instructing children aged 4-15 in fundamental aerial poses and mindful movements that promote self-regulation, strength, and tranquility.

– Implementing breathing exercises to reduce stress and enhance focus.

– Introducing mindfulness in the hammock through creative and engaging methods.

I’m Shany Hong

Shany Hong, a free-spirited nomad, began her life’s journey with dance at young age. She went on to study Interior Design, Literature and Eastern Medicine before she took to the skies traveling the world. When she landed, she found her home in Yoga.

After completing her Aerial Yoga Teacher Training at Om Factory New York, Shany founded NoMad yoga & dance in January 2016 in Taipei, Taiwan. creating an oasis of tranquility in Downtown Taipei with regular class offerings that include Vinyasa Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Lyra and Dance, as well as exciting Teacher Training Programs.

The process of discovering yourself by deepening the connection between your body and mind is a journey full of joy and surprises. We welcome all of you to join us as we create and enjoy the countless treasures of life.

In November 2016, NoMad yoga & dance became a sister studio of Om Factory School of Yoga.
